Danger Zone (1951)
Overview
Hugh Beaumont plays a low-rent, part-time detective who has a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time in these two short San Francisco crime stories. First he gets mixed up with a mysterious woman who bids $1000 at auction for a suitcase containing a seemingly priceless saxophone. Then he gets framed for having an affair with a married woman whose husband is soon bumped off. In both cases he is dogged by a tenacious police inspector who doesn't buy his claims that he's been framed.
